Improper loading and unloading in the process of maintenance and cleaning is the main cause of damage to the mold. Therefore, the mold should be disassembled and cleaned up at the same time by specialized personnel to complete, die head in the disassembly and cleaning should be used in copper devices. Die head assembly surface, can be fine oil stone or metallurgical sandpaper cleaning. Before assembling the molds, the runners should be polished to low roughness with metallographic sandpaper and coated with a thin layer of silicone ester to ensure protection against gas and water corrosion during long-term storage. 

During assembly, all bolts, screw bearing surfaces and threads must be coated with high temperature grease (7020). Sizing mold in the disassembly, care should be taken to avoid collision; installation, should be arranged in accordance with the type plate sequence number installation. Tank in the daily maintenance should ensure that the shaping block is loaded after the four sides to leave a proper adjustment of the activity space. 

Extrusion mold storage, molds should be stored in a dry, clean and ventilated warehouse, is strictly prohibited and corrosive products stored in the same warehouse;mold use is completed, must be cleaned up and reassembled. After the oil seal, stored in the warehouse; molds should be stored in a special mold storage rack, to ensure that the placement is safe and easy to access.
